Sunday School meets at 9:30 a.m.  Classes are offered for all ages.

The Girard First UMC has an active Sunday School program for all ages of people  The nursery is staffed during the Sunday School hour (9:30 a.m.)  Classes are offered for children and teens.  The adult classes include:
 
       Friendship Seekers - meets in the library
 
      Asbury Class - meets in the Asbury room, or if they have too many people (and they often do),
          they meet in fellowship hall.
 
       Junior and Senior Youth - meet in the Youth Room
 
      Elementary Age Students - meet on the lower level
